Specialized Step by Step Mold Assessment Plan:

Inspections, Testing & Removal

1st Step: We will inspect the problem areas in your home/building. Is there black mold growth? Is there excess moisture? Any problems at the a/c, bathrooms, interior walls? All of these are common locations for mold growth. Throughout the mold inspection we will use state-of-the-art equipment to locate probable areas of growth & moisture.

2nd Step: We determine the cause of the mold growth. Mold requires water to grow; therefore we look for a source of excessive moisture. Common sources include:

Hidden plumbing leaks
High humidity indoors
Roof, wall & window leaks
A/C condensation

3rd Step: We will outline our recommendations. We provide expert advice and consultation specifically tailored to your unique situation. You will now know what it will take to professionally clean up or resolve your problem.

4th Step: Mold Testing & Sampling will determine:

The presence of mold - Several types of sampling are available. Air samples, swab & tape lift samples and bulk samples. We can also perform allergen testing - cat, dust mites, rodent, etc.
Type of mold - Penicillium, Stachybotrys, Aspergillus, Cladosporium. Just a visual examination of the mold is not enough. We must send the samples into an AIHA accredited laboratory. Our mold testing accurately determines the species of mold growth in your building.
Quantity of mold - Mold spores can be found all over. They are on the walls, floors and in the air you breathe. Therefore we must measure the quantity to determine if there are elevated mold levels present.

Anyone can remove mold, but it takes a mold remediation professional to do it right. If mold remediation is done improperly, it can easily do more harm than good.
